About the event
Become certified and equipped as a facilitator of Neema Development's 16 Module ELEMENTAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT course on behalf of your NGO, nonprofit, or social enterprise. When you choose to be equipped as as a facilitator and license our material, your organization gains an ongoing off-the-shelf, culturally relevant, and highly accessible global entrepreneurship program with proven outcomes. After your initial investment in equipping national facilitators, this program is easily replicated throughout the developing communities you serve.
9/22 Session 1: Introductions, overview of Neema's unique model, course structure, and application.
9/29 Session 2: Preparation and setting up of your business training, good facilitation techniques, use of materials.
10/6 Session 3: Modules 1-3.
10/13 Session 4: Modules 4-8.
10/20 Session 5: Modules 9-12.
10/27 Session 6: Modules 13-16.
11/3 Session 7: Graduation planning, training of national trainers, conducting surveys, essential follow up.
11/10 Session 8: Preparing your team, evaluating costs, licensing process and overview, final Q&A.
NOTE: Certification of at least one key staff member is a prerequisite for licensure of the Elemental Business Development course. Licensing is a separate fee.
FORMAT: 8 week online training conducted in English from 8:30am-10:30am MDT, one day per week. Adequate internet and Zoom are necessary.
COST: $350 per organization for up to 3 staff. This course is limited to 20 participants.
REQUIREMENTS: Signed NDA, advance reading, participation in all 8 sessions, 8 short quizzes, final recording of yourself teaching a designated module.
